This is the only place in the world where you can see wild bathing monkeys. In the Jigoku-dani Onsen, there is an open bath especially for monkeys called “Yaen-Koen” where you can watch Japanese monkeys as they groom each other.

31 mins by car from hotel. The altitude of the highest point is at 2009m. This ski slope is only for skiers; snowboarding and snowscooting are not allowed in this area.
10 mins by car from the hotel. It boasts a mogul slope at a 32-degree angle representative of the Shiga Kogen during its high season. The kids’ park has plentiful lessons for children.
19 minutes drive from our hotel, the Shiga Kogen Country Club is one of, if not the best golf course in northern Nagano. It is popular for its unique courses that require strategy and skill. Have a relaxing dip at our onsen after you shoot a round!
